Mackay Northern Beaches State High School is located 10km from the centre of Mackay in the growing Northern Beaches area of Mackay. The school opened in January 2013 and boasts modern facilities with the very latest state-of-the-art technology embedded across the curriculum. About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

Lead the school department to develop and commit to a shared educational vision focused on delivering high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
Promote an inclusive and high-expectations culture by embedding socially just practices and setting high standards for student and staff performance.
Support continuous improvement by actively engaging in lifelong learning and professional development.
Build strong partnerships with students, parents, government agencies and community groups to enhance learning opportunities.
Provide strategic and effective departmental leadership by understanding relevant legislation and policies and managing human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
