About the Role:
Reporting to the Principal, the successful applicant will articulate and implement a shared educational vision focused on high-quality learning outcomes for all students, while embedding socially just practices in everyday school life. The role requires setting high expectations for staff and student performance, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and community stakeholders, and building strong partnerships across agencies. A deep understanding of relevant legislation and policy, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional growth and future-focused leadership, is essential.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead designated curriculum areas or whole-school programs in developing and committing to a shared vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote inclusive, socially just practices while maintaining high expectations for student achievement and staff performance.
- Foster strong partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups to enhance learning and engagement.
- Demonstrate strategic, future-focused leadership grounded in a clear understanding of relevant legislation and policies affecting students and staff.
- Effectively manage human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources while engaging in ongoing professional learning to achieve program and school goals.
