Skillset Senior College is an innovative independent, co-educational senior college located in the Central West of New South Wales. The College has two campuses across Bathurst & Dubbo, catering for students in Year 10-12.

Role Highlights

The Head of College is responsible and accountable to the Skillet Senior College Limited Board for the effective leadership and the overall management of the College.

Key Accountabilities

• Represents the Board on a day-to-day basis.
• Provides leadership in determining the School’s overall educational direction with the Board, and in developing and promoting the College, as well as implementing Board and College strategies, policies and decisions.
• Manages the various functions and activities of the College, overseeing educational programs, finances, assets, human resources, communications and major projects.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications related to educational leadership (Masters of Educational Leadership, etc.).
• Current NESA Accreditation and WWCC (or eligibility to gain).
• Appropriate qualifications and executive leadership experience outlined above.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build a strong leadership team and delegating effectively.
• Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education.
• Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Evidence of effective strategic thinking and planning resulting in the delivery of defined outcomes.
• Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the senior college.
• Working Rights for Australia (or eligible to gain).
