St Pius X College, Chatswood is seeking to appoint a Junior Graphic Designer to work on a part-time basis (3 days per week) for 48 weeks per year for a 12 month contract with the possibility of permanency. The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

The successful applicant will:

• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School;
• Be supportive of the Edmund Rice ethos of the College;
• Be characterised by a high standard of competency, professionalism, organisational proficiency and enthusiasm;
• Possess advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud specifically Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop;
• Have experience in producing large documents 250 plus pages in InDesign and liaising with Printers;
• Possess high-level attention to detail;
• Have well-developed copywriting ability and advanced editing and proofing skills;
• Have some experience in photography and knowledge of photo editing software;
• Possess Intermediate skills in the use of video and video editing software Premier Pro;
• Digital design skills for multimedia presentations, social media, digital ads;
• Have an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
• Have an ability to relate to boys and a practical knowledge of boys’ education issues and initiatives;
• Possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships;
