Dunlea Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Generalist teacher to join our growing school community. About the Role

The successful applicant will:

• Teach the NSW curriculum up to Stage 6
• Deliver high-quality, differentiated curriculum tailored to individual student needs
• Work effectively with vulnerable young people and their families
• Engage with and implement Dunlea Centre’s innovative Model of Care
• Collaborate with a committed, multidisciplinary team of professionals
• Contribute to the continued achievement of strong academic and social outcomes

About You

You are:

• A qualified and experienced secondary teacher
• Skilled in curriculum differentiation and trauma-informed practice
• Open to learning, reflection, and professional growth
• Committed to working collaboratively within a supportive team
• Passionate about education as a tool for positive social change

Dunlea Centre is a secondary special behavioural school and welfare agency. Dunlea Centre provides individual therapy, academic and life skills education for young people and their families. Teachers and direct care staff are trained on-site in the Boys' Town Omaha (USA) Social Skills Model. Dunlea Centre operates both residential (Monday to Friday) and day programs for students in stage 4 to stage 6.
It is ".....a place for change" focusing on behavioural change and educational gain.
