Rural Lancaster

9:00am - 3:30pm

Monday to Friday, Summer Term (April to July) Potential Temp‑to‑Perm Opportunity**

We are recruiting an experienced EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive early years team in a small, rural school close to Lancaster.

This position also has potential to continue into the next academic year (temp-to-perm).

About the Role

• Supporting teaching and learning in EYFS/Year 1
• Helping deliver early phonics, play-based learning, routines and transitions
• Working in-class and delivering small group support
• Hours: 9:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Start: Summer term
• Temp‑to-perm continuation possible into 2026/27

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in EYFS and/or KS1
• Minimum TA2 qualification or above
• A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to early learning
• Team player with good communication skills
• Understanding of early childhood development
