Experienced Teaching Assistant

The successful candidate will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs, supporting them both in the classroom and in small-group interventions across a range of subjects.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with SEND to access learning and reach their full potential.
• Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in the classroom.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver effective learning support across a variety of subjects.
• Assist with small-group and one-to-one interventions.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Support behaviour management strategies and promote positive student outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, proactive, and committed to student progress.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Has experience working with young people or SEND students (desirable but not essential).
