Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons for high school students
- Teach analytical, persuasive, creative, and discursive writing
- Provide constructive feedback aligned with SmartMind’s teaching framework
- Support students in developing confidence, organisation, and academic writing skills
- Collaborate with the academic team to maintain consistency across programs
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified NSW English teacher or experienced high school English tutor
- HSC teaching and/or marking experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of NSW syllabus and assessment standards
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to work collaboratively within a structured teaching environment

Remuneration & Professional Opportunities
In-Person Teaching
- Small Group Classes (up to 6 students): $90/hour
- Standard Classes (7–9 students): $110/hour
- Large Classes (10+ students): $120/hour
Online Teaching
- Small Group Classes (up to 6 students): $70/hour
- Standard Classes (7–9 students): $90/hour
- Large Classes (10+ students): $100/hour
Teaching rates include lesson preparation, homework marking and student feedback.
