Executive Assistant

This is a permanent full-time position commencing March 2026 The Infrastructure division is responsible for overseeing the Department’s built assets (land, buildings and equipment). This includes land planning, student enrolment forecasting and facilities planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, maintenance and minor works programs, and providing services for facilities.

The Role

We are seeking an organised individual to provide administrative support to the Executive Director, staff in the Executive Director’s office and broader Infrastructure team. The successful applicant will be able to adapt to change and work under pressure to achieve desired outcomes in a highly demanding environment, often with urgent and competing priorities. This role includes coordinating correspondence and briefing notes, travel arrangements, scheduling appointments, managing task lists and managing enquiries and requests.

You will also oversee office systems, handle some financial processes, and conduct research to support informed decision-making. You will also help to assess the priority of work, refer matters for action and follow up with the Executive Director or other staff members on behalf of the Executive Director.
