The Role:

• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
• Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress
• Contributing positively to the English department and wider school community
• Upholding high standards of behaviour and learning in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
