Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Batley that is seeking a motivated and passionate English Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a real impact across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role

• Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Planning, marking and assessment in line with school and DfE expectations
• Supporting pupils to develop strong literacy, analytical and communication skills
• Working collaboratively with a dedicated English department
• Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment where appropriate

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising attainment
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire learners
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
