St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate English Teacher. This is a temporary full-time leave cover position, commencing Monday, 7 September 2026 until the end of Term 4, 2026.
About You
As a English Teacher (Years 7-12), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- exemplary classroom practice and experience in teaching Stages 4-6 English
- dynamic and innovative practitioner with suitable experience in teaching, programming and assessment
- ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students
- sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member
- confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles
- an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
