Economics Teacher

Veritas Education are working with a college setting in the Leeds area who are looking for an A-Level Economics teacher to start as soon as possible, for a long-term full-time contract.

The college caters for students from 14+, delivering a range of vocational and core curriculum academic courses, including NVQ, GCSE and A-Levels.

The college is focused on providing the highest quality of education, and all members of staff are expected to strive for excellence in everything they do.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid QTS (Preferably with Economics specialism - but the college is open to business study applicants as well)
• Be confident in teaching A-Level Economics
• Be able to plan, prepare and deliver A-Level standard work, and ensure lessons are informative, engaging and demonstrate pupil progression.
• Demonstrate a real desire to make a positive difference with the pupils you work with, and push for all students to grow academically.
