Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Temporary Full-Time Teacher to join our dynamic and collaborative HSIE faculty from start of Term 2, 2026 - end of Term 1, 2027. The successful applicant will teach a senior Economics load, alongside junior Geography and Commerce classes. Approval to teach Economics is preferred; however, a willingness will also be considered.

Well-developed, high-quality teaching programs and resources are available and ready for use. Teachers are encouraged to adapt and refine materials to reflect their teaching style and to meet the needs of their classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in Senior Economics (Stage 6).
- Teach junior Geography and Commerce (Stage 4 and/or Stage 5).
- Differentiate instruction to support a wide range of learners, including high-potential students.
- Use data-informed practices to monitor and enhance student progress.
- Contribute to faculty planning, moderation, and collaborative programming.
- Prepare students effectively for assessment tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and provide meaningful feedback through report writing and parent teacher.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and academically focused classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Please consider in your response, covering some of the following:
- Approval to teach Economics and willingness to teach HSIE (Geography and Commerce desirable).
- Demonstrated capacity to teach Stage 6 Economics.
- Strong knowledge of syllabus requirements and assessment practices.

- Commitment to collaborative practice and faculty contribution.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
