About You
As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You will work collaboratively with a vibrant Diverse Learning team and College teaching staff to ensure the best learning experiences for diverse learning students. You'll be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
- understand and cater for the diverse needs of students who require individual, classroom and community support in a range of learning environments
- understand and work with NCCD processes to ensure compliance with stakeholder requirements
- work collaboratively with classroom teachers in all learning environments, making appropriate interventions for students, at the point of need
- collaborate as a team member with Diverse Learning teachers to provide education support for identified students
- be organised, supportive and resourceful
- contribute to a culture of continuous learning
- support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students
- develop strong interpersonal relationships and positive partnerships with students and staff
- integrate technology across a range of applications
- bring a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
