About You

As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You will work collaboratively with a vibrant Diverse Learning team and College teaching staff to ensure the best learning experiences for diverse learning students. You'll be able to:

• create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
• utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
• demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
• integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
• understand and cater for the diverse needs of students who require individual, classroom and community support in a range of learning environments
• understand and work with NCCD processes to ensure compliance with stakeholder requirements
• work collaboratively with classroom teachers in all learning environments, making appropriate interventions for students, at the point of need
• collaborate as a team member with Diverse Learning teachers to provide education support for identified students
• be organised, supportive and resourceful
• contribute to a culture of continuous learning
• support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students
• develop strong interpersonal relationships and positive partnerships with students and staff
• integrate technology across a range of applications
• bring a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
