About You

As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will:

  • demonstrate experience implementing adjustments for students with a range of diverse learning needs to enhance learning growth across all KLAs
  • collaborate and collegially work as a member of the Diverse Learning team
  • benefit from having a background as an English Teacher
  • possess strong communication skills and the ability to deal sensitively with students, parent/carers and staff when required
  • provide in class support to students who may have a mild to moderate cognitive disability
  • benefit from using Catholic Schools NSW PPSD profiles
  • administer one on one and small group interventions to students with a diverse range of learning abilities
  • assist in administering a range of standardised assessments
  • help maintain school based data and records upholding confidentiality.create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • use and integrate technology across a wide range of administrative and curriculum applications. into everyday learning and planning
  • have a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.
