The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Diverse Learning Teacher with strong interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Diverse Learning Department. The role of the Diverse Learning Teacher is focused on supporting students with a diverse range of learning needs (including students with learning difficulties, identified gifted and talented capabilities, disability and EAL/D needs) to access and participate successfully in their learning.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Diverse Learning Teacher with strong interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Diverse Learning Department. The role of the Diverse Learning Teacher is focused on supporting students with a diverse range of learning needs (including students with learning difficulties, identified gifted and talented capabilities, disability and EAL/D needs) to access and participate successfully in their learning.
Key Criteria
We are looking for teachers who:
- Create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- Design, implement, and monitor Individualised Learning Plans and intervention strategies within the NCCD cyclic process
- Effectively use data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to support diverse learners in the classroom.
- Integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards related to inclusive education, ensuring continuous improvement in learning support services.
- Post graduate qualifications in Special Education or Gifted Education
