About You

As a Diverse Learning Coordinator - Newman Facilitator, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. This position is a 1-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:

  • experience across one or more Key Learning Areas (with the ability to teach English being a distinct advantage)
  • the ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • knowledge and understanding of Sydney Catholic Schools' Newman Selective Gifted Education Program (including accreditation processes) and the Gifted Education Standards Framework
  • the ability to work with staff and build professional capacity in Diverse Learning, particularly in Newman Selective Gifted Education
  • strong classroom management & student well-being focus
  • the ability to demonstrate the capacity to select and support appropriate school improvement processes based on data analysis
  • a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation.
