This role is fundamental to ensuring Central Coast Grammar School remains a school of choice and is highly regarded in the minds of future, current and past families. It leads all aspects of marketing, communications, public relations, and brand management, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all communication platforms. This involves strategic communications planning, building and managing a calendar of communication activities, marketing the school through paid and unpaid channels, liaising with internal stakeholders on communication activities, and managing delivery of these activities by the Community Relations and Advancement team.

You are an enthusiastic, motivated senior communications or marketing professional, with experience in managing a team and budgets. You possess exceptional interpersonal skills. With a demonstrated customer service-based approach in all interactions, you engage and collaborate to deliver exceptional support and service to all stakeholders in a cooperative and collegiate manner. To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent training or experience)
  • A minimum of five years full time equivalent, recent, professional experience, developing, planning and implementing successful and measurable brand and marketing programs with an emphasis on lead generation, acquisition and engagement
  • Experience in an education or not-for-profit context could be an advantage, though not essential.
  • High level of verbal, written and visual communication across various channels with exceptional attention to detail and editing abilities
  • High level of skill and experience using the digital applications and software that support the position including: Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft 365, website CMS, Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms
  • Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team
  • A commitment to the strategic direction of the School is required
