This expression of interest is only available to staff currently employed by the Caversham Valley Primary School

This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2025 with possible extension (6 months).

Caversham Valley Primary School (PS) is located 15 kilometres from the centre of Perth in the growing suburb of Caversham. Near the Swan Valley, we are surrounded by rapidly developing housing estates with many young families. Our school community includes families of different backgrounds and cultures, many from overseas where English is not always the first language or dialect spoken at home.

Opened in 2020 for Kindergarten to Year 6 students, our campus consists of an Administration area, four teaching blocks, undercover assembly area, large library, excellent sporting facilities and well-maintained grounds providing a pleasant and inviting environment. A double story teaching block is currently under construction for opening in 2025. Our teaching and learning environments reflect a positive and innovative approach to maximising learning opportunities for students.

Knowledge of, and effective processes to support positive student behaviour across the school is central to this position.
