About the Role
This is an opportunity to work collaboratively within a dynamic leadership team and contribute to the continued development of a new school. The successful applicant will bring strong instructional and organisational leadership, a commitment to developing staff capability, and the ability to lead strategically while remaining highly connected to the day-to-day experiences of students and staff.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Strategic Educational Leadership: Support the Principal in developing and implementing a shared educational vision focused on achieving high-quality learning outcomes for every student, while deputising for the Principal when required.
- Values-Based and Inclusive Leadership: Demonstrate ethical, values-driven leadership and embed socially just, inclusive and equitable practices throughout the school community.
- High Expectations and Professional Excellence: Set high standards for student and staff performance, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and actively engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Community Partnerships and Future Focus: Build strong partnerships with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry and business, while maintaining a strategic and future-focused approach to school improvement.
- Governance and Resource Management: Apply relevant legislation and policies and effectively manage people, resources and priorities to achieve school goals and deliver positive outcomes for students and the wider school community.
