The role builds positive relationships and leads the staff, students and families within the section. Understanding of the whole student and driving a system that recognises the breadth of individual capacity and achievement is a critical element of the role. Excellent communication will ensure consistent understanding of student progress in their wellbeing and learning across the section.
Working with and deputising for the Head of Section, the Deputy Head ensures the smooth running of the Section working in line with the College values of Respect, Compassion and Integrity and the Mission of a holistic education at Beaconhills College.

- This is a full time ongoing position
- Commencing Term 4 2026 or by negotiation
- This position is at our Berwick Campus
- Annual responsibility allowance of $15 663
- This role receives 26 periods per cycle of time release
- This position requires a current VIT registration
- 2 day dedicated new staff induction - rated 4 out of 5 stars by our 2026 new teacher intake
