The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher.
- Ensure students remain on task and complete the work set.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress.
No planning or marking is required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, mentoring, or similar setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence leading groups of students aged 11-16 or 11-18.
- A flexible, professional, and positive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
