Salary: $149,107 plus superannuation

About St Francis Xavier College

St Francis Xavier College is seeking to recruit a Coordinator of Mission and Liturgy to join our team. The Coordinator of Mission and Liturgy is a specialist role and is key to embedding and building a vibrant Catholic culture in the College. The College is seeking a person who is committed to the vision of the College ‘Living the truth, leading with courage, learning for life’ who is invested in and who will promote the apostolic mission of the Church and of Catholic education.

About the Role

The holder of the position must be a practising Catholic and an experienced educator, with demonstrated successful experience as a teacher of Secondary Religious Education with initiative, integrity and vision.

The Coordinator of Mission and Liturgy provides expert advice and leadership in liturgical practice, contributes to the development of an accessible and vibrant faith community, and builds partnerhips with the broader community in illuminating the mission of the College. As a member of the Curriculum Leadership team, the Coordinator of Mission and Liturgy reports to the Assistant Principal Curriculum and Innovation and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
• Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
• Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community
• Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest
• Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
