About Us
Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called Good Samaritan Education (GSE). Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of Good Samaritan Education is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning.

About the Role
A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College seeks expressions of interest for the position of Community Engagement Liaison to join the Communications and Engagement Team in this Temporary (part-time) position. The successful candidate will work two days per week (0.4 FTE) on Thursdays and Fridays as a job-share with an existing employee on a flexible working arrangement for 2026.
The role of the Community Engagement Liaison is to establish and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of confidence and confidentiality. The role is primarily responsible for fostering partnerships and networks and developing engagement programs and events to meet the needs of the College, our students, and the wider Community.
This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support and coordination across a range of functions for the Communications and Engagement Team, consistent with the College's Vision and Mission statements and the College Strategic Plan.
The Community Engagement Liaison is required to support the Communications and Engagement Manager across all projects by providing support services that ensure the efficiency of the Communications and Engagement Team's day-to-day operations.
The Community Engagement Liaison will coordinate and oversee three of the major portfolios currently falling within the Communications and Engagement Team, including the development and implementation of the College Alumni relations strategy, the College’s Parent Engagement strategy and the College’s Benedictine Exchange Program (BEP), in addition to the monitoring, tracking and reporting on the College Strategic Plan.

About You
The successful candidate will be a highly capable support staff member who is highly motivated to support Rosebank College. All staff members are expected to support the College's vision and goals as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of college life.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications/Public Relations, Marketing, Social Work, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar position (essential)
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of multi-stakeholder and community engagement programs and outcomes
- Community facilitation and presentation experience and expertise with a broad range of engagement methods (informing, consulting, involving, collaborating, and empowering)
- Research and data analytical skills essential, including the ability to compile reports for presentation to staff, parents, the Communications and Engagement Manager, and Board Directors
- Demonstrated adept project management experience
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Communication skills in dealing with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to exercise initiative, work autonomously, be organised, flexible, and prioritise workload individually and as a member of a team within a highly interactive and complex environment
- Valid driver’s licence to support the operational and logistical requirements of the role.
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- A commitment to the child safeguarding principles
