Your Role:
The Coach supports the implementation of delivering high-quality, evidence-based literacy instruction across the school to improve student reading outcomes.
The role focuses on improving student reading outcomes, building teacher capacity, and embedding effective literacy practices aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Education Queensland priorities.
The Coach provides on-site professional development, models effective instructional strategies, and uses data to inform practices, collaborating with school leadership, teachers, and support staff to strengthen literacy programs and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Applicants for these positions must possess:

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please Click here.
- Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
