ABOUT THE SCHOOL

St Mary's Parish School, Hay, is located in a fabulous, welcoming community in the Riverina region of NSW. It is a K-6 school with an enrolment of 43 students. The family-orientated nature of our school is quite special. Here at St Mary's we know each child and their families. St Mary’s, a small school with a big heart, continues to be a vibrant part of the town life in Hay.

At St Mary's we have a strong focus on building positive classroom and school environments with an intentional focus on the innate character strengths that each child and staff member has. TEACHER INCENTIVES INCLUDE:

Maximum Package valued at $34,600 (incentives will be pro-rated for 3 terms)

• Total incentive payment - $10,000
• $5000 upfront
• $5000 distributed throughout the year
• Removalist allowance - Up to $5000
• Rental subsidy - up to $15,600
• Retention payment - $4000 after the first 12 months, increasing over 5 years

St Mary’s is a K-6 school within the diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, situated in Hay, in southwestern NSW, on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.

Wilcannia-Forbes schools are centres of culture, learning and evangelisation within their parish communities where the Gospel is lived and the dignity of people is respected in the tradition of the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, is located in Forbes in Central West NSW. Our office works in partnership with and supports school principals and staff, parents and parish priests to provide quality education and authentic learning experiences to students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Schools in our Diocese promote inclusion for all students.
