We are seeking a classroom teacher to join our wonderful teaching team. The successful applicant will be well supported. Graduates are encouraged to apply. Beginning Term 1 2026.

Role Description

St Augustine’s Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified highly motivated, innovative and passionate teacher.

• sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education within the Primary School
• competent skills and pedagogy around Google applications
• the ability to build positive supportive relationships with students and parents
• initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning
• an understanding and commitment to Child Safety.

The successful applicant will have:

• the ability to promote the importance of Education in Faith in our Catholic community
• accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic school ( or willing to undertake)
• a current VIT registration
• a commitment to child safety and knowledge of the Child Safety Standards
• knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and Key Curriculum Knowledge Learning
• the ability to work in partnership in the areas of planning and the implementation of learning based on students' needs and interests
• current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course).

St Augustine's is a co-educational Catholic Primary School situated in the Bayside suburb of Frankston South. Our school is situated on over 3 hectares of natural bushland! The school currently comprises of 314 students and 49 staff. The structure of the school consists of:
Prep X 3 classes,
Grade 1 X 3 classes,
Grade 2 X 2 classes,
Grade 3 X 2 classes,
Grade 4 X2 classes.
Grade 5 X 3 classes
Grade 6 X 2 classes
A total of 15 classes in all. The average class size is 22 students.
