Role Description/Criteria

St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School in Mordialloc is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated graduate or early career teacher to join our talented teaching team. The position will be a full-time contract position for 1 year in a Year 2 class, commencing 27 January 2026 with the possibility of becoming ongoing. St Brigid’s is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

We are seeking a graduate or an early career teacher who is committed to working collaboratively with their colleagues to provide a differentiated learning and teaching program that puts each student at the centre of all they do.

The successful applicants will need to demonstrate:

• a strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
• the ability to develop relationships with parents, staff and students
• an understanding of current curriculum documents and contemporary teaching and learning practices in line with our MACS Vision for Instruction.
• an ability to provide learning experiences that are cognitively engaging, to a range of learning styles and abilities
• an ability to use data and assessment tools to improve student learning outcomes
• the ability to work as a team
• an ability to use digital technologies to enhance the learning for the students

The successful candidate:

• requires VIT registration
• should have, be undertaking or intend to undertake RE Accreditation.
