About Our School
St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Como-Oyster Bay is a two-stream school located in the Sutherland Shire. Founded by the Presentation Sisters in 1953, the school is characterised by a positive, nurturing, learning environment that strives for excellence in all facets of education and fosters the confidence, self-worth and integrity of each child. The story of Nano Nagle and the charisms of the Presentation Sisters continued to enrich our Catholic values and shape our interactions and relationships with a strong message of service and empowerment. About You
As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
