About Our School

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Como-Oyster Bay is a two-stream school located in the Sutherland Shire. Founded by the Presentation Sisters in 1953, the school is characterised by a positive, nurturing, learning environment that strives for excellence in all facets of education and fosters the confidence, self-worth and integrity of each child. About You

As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
• strong classroom management & student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
