Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Essential Criteria

  • A commitment to the values, mission, and ethos of Catholic education and the broader Catholic Church
  • Accreditation (or commitment to obtaining it) and contemporary knowledge of RE pedagogy and the Religious Education curriculum
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the K-6 curriculum and the ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality curriculum programs that lead to improved student outcomes
  • Skill in using assessment data to personalise and differentiate learning for a diverse range of student abilities
  • Capacity to establish and maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment where students are engaged and self-disciplined
  • Shows flexibility, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • NSW NESA Accreditation
  • Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
