Specific Criteria
- Strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and our Vision of Authentic professional Catholic education delivered with care and compassion and modelling St Kevin’s motto “United in Love” and the values of acceptance, dignity, hope, and compassion.
- Willingness to engage actively in the liturgical life of the small parish school community and to build strong links with the local Warringah Catholic Parish.
- Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and a commitment to collaborative coaching and student achievement.
- Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners.
- Experience in teaching students for whom English is an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D), and the ability to differentiate and extend learning for gifted and high-potential students, catering for a wide range of learning needs.
- Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students.
- Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments, with an understanding of positive student welfare practices.
- Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
- Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning.
- Commitment to the Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) Shaping Tomorrow, Together in Faith strategic plan, embracing its focus on student growth, faith formation, and community collaboration.
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check
- Must be a 4-year trained teacher
