Two Positions available: Job 1 offers 6hrs on each Friday and Job 2 offers a total of 12hrs to be worked on Monday & Tuesday

Salary Range: $81,627 to $119,516 FTE Gross per annum

St Gerard Majella School is a co-educational Catholic primary school in the Cairns southern suburb of Woree. With a healthy enrolment of around 400 students from Prep to Year Six, the school has always been a highly regarded and well sought-after Catholic primary school.

About the Role

The Teacher will plan and prepare effective, quality learning and teaching programs and practices, which are consistent with the National Standards, Diocesan, and school-based learning area plans and policies. They will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, which is inclusive, learner-centered, and academically challenging.  These roles are "Shared Teaching" Positions in Year 6 and Year 4 respectively.

Work Requirements

• Be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers
• Professional qualifications in Education
• Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
