Specific Criteria

  • Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
  • Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
  • Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners, ensuring every student reaches their full potential
  • Experience in teaching Physical Education from K-6, working to promote regular, enjoyable participation in physical activity and sport, ensuring a proactive and consistent approach
  • Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students
  • Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive Stage Three learning environment with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
  • Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
  • Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
