St. Therese's School (Essendon) is seeking a classroom teacher to join our team commencing Term 3, 2026 on Monday July 13. The successful applicant will be joining an enthusiastic and vibrant school community.

This position is for a Full time Classroom teacher and whilst this teaching position is fixed term we intend that the successful candidate, where possible, becomes part of our staff long term.

We require a teacher:

• With a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education
• Who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a positive outlook
• Who has the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and innovative professional learning team
• With a knowledge of a variety of contemporary learning and teaching strategies
• Who is a competent user of G Suite for Education (Google Apps) and other ICT resources
• Who holds a current VIT Registration.

Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (CECV Policy 1.7) would be seen as advantageous.
