Role Description/Criteria

The successful applicant will:

• Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children.
• Hold accreditation to teach in a Catholic school, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain accreditation.
• Possess the professional knowledge, pedagogical expertise and interpersonal skills required to provide students with a rich, engaging and rewarding educational experience.
• Design and deliver purposeful, challenging and differentiated learning experiences informed by the Science of Learning and aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction.
• Support and implement the principles and practices of the MACS Vision for Engagement.
• Use evidence-based teaching practices to support diverse learning needs and improve student learning outcomes.
• Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
