Job description

James Fallon High School are seeking expressions of interest for day-to-day casual work from approved NSW Department of Education teachers.

Requirements:You must be accredited with NESA and approved to teach with the NSW Department of Education.

• JFHS runs on a 6-hour school day, commencing at 9.15 am and finishing at 3.15 pm. The school day consists of five 1 hour periods and two 30-minute lunch breaks (slight change on Thursdays due to Sport)
• You will have a dedicated SASS team member to assist with all casual bookings, class allocations, Mandatory Training requirements and other enquiries
• Placement in classes in your trained teaching areas (where possible and practical)
• A thorough induction and site tour on your first day of work at James Fallon High School. Time will also be provided to complete Mandatory Training and/or other administrative tasks on your first day, if required
• Access to resources including a laptop and teacher key to ensure you have the resources you need for the day!
• Access to our school management system, Sentral, to electronically access lessons, resources, class rolls, Wellbeing etc.
• Guaranteed casual bookings. We will never cancel your booking on you at the last minute
• Dedicated support from all Executive, including Deputy Principals and Head Teachers, to support you with our students and classes throughout the day
• Support to complete the PDP process, and Maintenance of Accreditation PD hours requirements with NESA.
