Description The Opportunity We are seeking passionate and dedicated Casual Educators to join our team. In this role, you will work across all age groups (6 months to 5 years) and rooms, providing high-quality care and education to children in a supportive and collaborative environment Key Responsibilities

• Engage and Educate: Support the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate programs that promote children's learning and development.
• Supervise and Support: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing supervision and guidance in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Collaborate: Work effectively with other educators and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate: Build and maintain respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain Standards: Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the National Quality Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework

Selection Criteria Essential

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and education in a not-for-profit, community-based setting

Desirable

• Experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
• Experience in a not-for-profit or cooperative childcare setting.
