About Our School

St Anthony of Padua Catholic College is a K-12 state-of-the-art Kindergarten to Year 12 college that provides opportunities for students to be known, valued and challenged for the 13 years of their formal education and beyond. About You

As the Bursar, you will provide a high-level of support to the Principal and leadership team. As an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • delivering high level administrative support to the Business Manager and support staff
  • exhibiting management process in administration, finance, school fees and other related reports for the Principal
  • managing financial administration as required
  • efficiently managing registers
  • a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • any other duties as directed by the Principal.

To thrive in this role, you will possess:

  • proficiency in administrative and clerical tasks
  • competence in financial and/or administrative management
  • valuable qualities such as tact, reliability, and the ability to work in a team effectively
  • a commitment to honesty, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality
  • prior experience working with children or in a school environment
  • strong interpersonal and organisational abilities
  • familiarity with emerging technologies like Google Suite, Oracle, Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, CiAnywhere, along with a solid grasp of Facilities tasks and WHS
  • a minimum of five years of administrative/clerical experience
  • proficiency in financial and administrative management
  • a Certificate III/IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting, or a related field.
