Primary School Art Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging visual arts programs for students from Foundation to year 6.

About the Role

The Primary School Art Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging visual arts programs for students from Foundation to year 6. The teacher fosters creativity, artistic skills, critical thinking, and self-expression while supporting the school's educational goals and values.

Key Selection Criteria

• Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
• A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
• Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
• Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
• Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
