About Our School

Immaculate Heart of Mary Primary School, Sefton, is a two-stream school that welcomes students from Kindergarten to year 6 from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. About You

As an Art/Music Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

• create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
• demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
• support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
• demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
• integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
