AIEW position (2 days per week)
This position is to support Aboriginal and Islander students from Transiton to Year 6 and the focus will be in the three main areas of home and community liaison and engagement, input into teacher and school resources and student support.
Educational requirements:
- High level of literacy and numeracy
- Working towards a relevant education qualification/ or the desire to start
Essential Criteria:
- Commitment to contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of the school
- Current Ochre card (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong indigenous cultural knowledge
- Ability to build positive working relationships with students, staff, families and the wider community
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

St Paul's Catholic School is situated on the corner of Trower Rd and Francis St, Nightcliff ~ a popular beachside suburb of Darwin ~ approximately 10 kilometres from the city centre. The school caters for Transition to Year 6 with an Early Learning Centre for 3 - 5-year-olds. St Paul's School is a small family centred primary school with a current enrolment of 220 students.
