About You

The successful applicant will work with Aboriginal students to improve the educational outcomes and continue to develop the cultural knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students. You must be able to demonstrate:

• support of Aboriginal cultural awareness for all students with particular reference to Aboriginal students
• ability to maintain effective relationships between Aboriginal students, Aboriginal parents, the Aboriginal community and school staff
• ability to liaise with the principal and school staff on protocols for interacting with the Aboriginal community in relation to staff and Aboriginal students in the school and in Aboriginal education activities.

Essential Criteria:

• identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• deep knowledge/understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
