Job description: To engage parents/carers of Aboriginal children from birth to four years in the education of their children. The role will contribute to improved kindergarten enrolment and attendance by providing parents with knowledge and skills to enhance their support for children’s learning and preparedness for school entry.
Determining Eligibility for Identified Roles
As of 1 July 2016, determining eligibility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs and services has changed. Full details are available from the Office of Aboriginal Affairs (OAA) website.
This role is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified role and as such confirmation of eligibility will need to be provided with your application in order to be considered for shortlisting by supplying a certified copy of the completed eligibility form.

We are looking for
Essential
- Aboriginality. The State Service Commissioner has determined that this position is an Aboriginal identified position and that it will be filled in accordance with Ministerial Direction No.10 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment in the State Service
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
Desirable
- A Current Drivers Licence
