Applications are invited for a passionate Secondary Teacher at Santa Maria College looking for Full Time employment teaching Humanities, Business and Accounting for all of Term 3 & Term 4 in 2026 (1 FTE). This position is a Leave cover commencing the 13th July 2026 to the end of the year.

Due to a Leave cover, we are seeking a Humanities, Business and Accounting Teacher who is available Full Time (1 FTE), teaching 1X Y9 Humanities, 1 X Y11 Accounting, 1 X Y12 Accounting, 2 X Y12 Business Management and a HR & Pastoral.

• Experience teaching methods listed
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents and emerging young adults.
• Proficient in the use of ICT for communication and record keeping.
• Interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents, particularly the ability to work as a member of a team.
• Organisation and administrative skills appropriate for planning and preparation
• VIT Certification
• Commitment to supporting the College’s relational management and restorative practices.
• Maintain a positive environment which is respectful of all present and fosters student learning and motivation.
• Able to participate in the College's professional development activities in and out of school hours.
• Open to participate in the College's extra-curricular and co-curricular programs as required.
• Experience with Mandatory Reporting and knowledge of Child Safety expectations and standards.
