There has never been a more exciting time to join the Workforce Supply, Mobility and Reform branch! This talent register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for fixed term, full-time and part-time opportunities up to twelve (12) months for a range of key positions across Workforce Supply, Mobility and Reform. Context Workforce Supply, Mobility and Reform is responsible for promoting the Department of Education as the employer of choice to local, interstate and international teachers. We represent the Department at expos, in universities, and deliver online events and webinars. We also work with the Communications team to create and maintain the Department of Education career website, and promotional material related to the work we do. A number of key Workforce functions are currently managed within our team including:
- Promotion of the Department as an Employer of Choice with a diversity of careers in Education;
- The Leap program to retrain teachers into specialised areas of need;
- The Teach in WA customer service centre, providing information to prospective and current Department teachers in many areas of inquiry, including employment eligibility requirements, recognition of prior service, and teacher qualification assessments; and
- The international and interstate recruitment of high-quality teachers.
