Position Descriptor
The role is 1 teacher working 0.6 with 3 students in reception with significant needs, all ASD3, 2 non-verbal and with GDD/ID. Two children are full-time, 1 part-time with slowly increasing contact. Experience working with the EYLF and Ables curriculum approach would be beneficial. The students have full time SSO involvement, including supervision at play time. The teacher is responsible for working directly with the students, planning and programming, plus parent communication and reporting.

- Describe your experiences and knowledge working with and planning learning experiences for children with disabilities.
- Describe how you have worked as part of a larger dynamic teaching team, including SSOs, to support and promote inclusion of children with diverse needs into a mainstream setting.
- Describe how you have supported families by communicating individual strengths and growth points in learning, social and motor development while building a strong home - school bond.
As the children are non-verbal and developing language, clear, articulate English is required for clarity in the early development of phonemic awareness. The 3 days are negotiable, or could be delivered as part days.
