• Position Descriptor: The Lead Teacher - Inclusive Education is an AITSL Certified Lead Teacher who provides guidance, coaching, and leadership to enhance inclusive education practices across the school. This role ensures that students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) backgrounds, and students with disabilities or additional needs (Tier 2/3 interventions) are supported through equitable, evidence-based, and differentiated teaching approaches. As a Lead Certified Teacher, the incumbent demonstrates exemplary professional practice, builds staff capacity, and leads initiatives that embed inclusion, cultural responsiveness, and high expectations for every learner. Teaching: 0.4FTE Instructional role: 0.6 FTE Job and person specification available upon request.
