Experienced Teaching Assistant - SEMH School (Primary & Secondary) - Bromley

Pay: £95 - £118 per day Contract: Full-time, Long-term Location: Bromley, London Start Date: Immediate

Do you have the resilience, empathy, and experience to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic SEMH school catering for both Primary and Secondary pupils in Bromley.

What We're Looking For

• Enhanced DBS (essential).
• Previous experience working with children (compulsory).
• School-based experience (highly desirable).
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour and build positive relationships.
• A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH needs in both classroom and 1:1 settings.
• Assist the teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
